 |
Bihō designed the twenty woodblock prints of flowers and (or) birds shown in this gallery during the early 1900s. He used an almost-square format for his print designs which was unusual but popular at that time. Like most of his contemporaries, Bihō drew flowers and birds in a true-to-life way. To help bring his bird subjects to life they were often shown with open beaks or engaged in some type of activity.
